Horses in stables

David Barker has worked with horses all of his life, progressing up the ranks from pony clubbing, hunting, three-day eventing to amateur jockeying, culminating in one Point to Point victory. David began his training career in 1996, following the death of his father, William Barker. With the establishment gradually developing year-on-year with an increasing number of horses and winners, 2005 was the most successful year to date, with 30 winners (including one listed winner and a group 2 winner), from 26 horses in training. Thanks to these successes, further enhancements to the facilities have been made, together with a full yard of 46 horses.
